Honky Tonk Confidential retro and alt country/western/rockabilly performance and dance.

Retro country/western/rockabilly group Honky Tonk Confidential entertains audiences with clever, finely crafted tunes from the group’s four award-winning albums as well as classic country music.

Retro-alternative country band – Honky Tonk Confidential is known for its superlative musicianship, beautiful harmonies and top-notch songwriting.  The band’s repertoire includes its own award-winning tunes as well as classic songs from the Golden Age of Country.  HTC has performed several times at the Grand Ole Opry.

Honky Tonk Confidential has won a barrel full of awards for its vocals, musicianship, and four albums of mostly original music and the band has been profiled in national media including CBS’ Sunday Morning, CNN, ABC, New York Magazine, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. HTC also writes songs and performs with CBS News chief Washington correspondent and host of Face the Nation Bob Schieffer.  The band performs at venues from  legion halls to festivals and fairs, concert halls, galas, museums and, the pinnacle of success for a country band, the Grand Ole Opry.

The band’s influences include all the country music greats, including Bob Wills, Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline.  HTC also performs its own award-winning tunes including Honky Tonk 101, Your Trailer or Mine, High-Tech Redneck, and Road Kill Stew, inspired by the dearth of songs which mention Maine.
