Monte Selby writes songs with #1 hit songwriters who win Grammy Awards.  And, he writes songs with elementary, middle, and high school students.  Sometimes, his co-writers are parents, teachers, nursing home residents, business professionals, or festival participants.  The non-typical writing career has produced hundreds of songs that are insightful, funny, inspiring, dramatic, and always full of real life.  It is Selby’s ability to write with almost anyone in practically any style that allows him to perform songs that are custom selected for every unique audience.  He is a powerful and versatile guitar player.  The most common description of his voice is, “Wow!”  His regular fans refer to his concerts as, “The experience.”  At the Schoodic Arts For All concert, Selby will include the world premiere performance of a song written that day with his workshop participants.  Come to the concert to listen, be involved, laugh, and be inspired with a truly unforgettable musical experience!
