 Have a Mango: Original Songs

Folk, swing, blues, jazz with lyrics that speak to our times.

On FRIDAY, MAY 25 at 7 pm, Brian Dyer Stewart and Leonore Hildebrandt will return to Hammond Hall, Winter Harbor, with new original songs. A folk duo with a jazzy flair.

As a folk duo with a jazzy flair, Leonore and Brian write, arrange, and play their own songs. They have performed over many years and recorded several CDs. Brian plays piano and guitar, Leonore percussion, and both sing. Their song lyrics are both thoughtful and fun.

Leonore is a German-born poet, teacher, and editor. Brian is a computer wizard who has brought his music into the community from schools and churches to pubs and online piano concerts. Both live with their families in Harrington where they built their own houses and grow lovely gardens.

Leonore Hildebrandt writes both songs and poems. Her poetry has been widely published, and her new collection, Where You Happen to Be, is forthcoming with Deerbrook Editions.

Brian Dyer Stewart gave his first full concert of original music to a packed house at the Nameless Coffeehouse in Cambridge, Mass. in 1980 and has been writing and performing songs ever since.  He keeps an occasional blog at https://bdsworks.org/blog

Brian and Leonore have been performing together for over thirty years.
