Join us for a day trip to Rockland

Itinerary:

Join us for a day trip to the wonderful Farnsworth Art Museum.

On Exhibit:

MARGUERITE ZORACH—AN ART-FILLED LIFE

And

BLACK AND WHITE: LOUISE NEVELSON/PEDRO GUERRERO

And

ANDREW WYETH: MAINE WATERCOLORS, 1938 TO 2008

8:00am – Gather at Darling’s Auto Mall in Ellsworth

16 King’s Crossing (up the hill from Walmart, by the old Lowe’s building)

8:15am – Depart from Darling’s in Vans

Rest Stop in Searsport

10:45am – Arrive at the Farnsworth Art Museum

11:00am – 12:00pm- Docent-led tour of the Museum

12:00pm – 1:00 – Browse Museum or walk to Center for Maine Contemporary Art (additional entrance fee of $6-8)

1:15 – Meet at Front Vans for travel to lunch.

1:30 – 2:30 Lunch at Home Kitchen Café

2:30pm – Gather at the Vans for return to Ellsworth

3:15pm – Rest Stop at Searsport Irving Station

5:00pm – Arrive back at Darling’s Auto Mall and say our nice good-byes!

To encourage participants of all ages to express themselves creatively and gain a lifelong appreciation for the arts and creative spirit. To celebrate creativity through a wide range of cultural workshops, events and performances.
