Coffeehouse at Schoodic Arts for All, Hammond Hall, 427 Main Street, Winter Harbor,
ME. Gordon is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and a Winter Harbor resident who
tours as a solo performer and has worked with notable musicians such as Eric Troyer
and Mik Kaminski of the Electric Light Orchestra and has shared the stage and billing
with Natalie Merchant and Christine Lavin. He is currently promoting his newest
record Eiderdown. Gordon’s song stylings are influenced by the singer-songwriters of
the late 1960s through the 1970s, yet his songs occupy a space all their own and fit into
the contemporary folk rock, adult alternative, and Americana genres.
Dubbed “the total package” by his fans, Gordon Thomas Ward has songs charting in the
United States and Europe. His new record Eiderdown is charting as the #1 record in
Maine and nationally as the #3 alternative folk and #7 folk record. His song stylings
have been influenced by the singer-songwriters of the late 1960s through the 1970s, yet

Utilizing a variety of instruments in his shows, including six-, eight-, and twelve-string guitars
and an eight-string Walkabout dulcimer, results in a varied spectrum of tonal colors. His songs
have led him to work with notable musicians such as Eric Troyer and Mik Kaminski (Electric
Light Orchestra, ELO II, and The Orchestra), William J. Hall, Caroline Cotter, share the stage
and billing with Natalie Merchant and Christine Lavin, and open for noted singer-songwriter Bill
Staines. Gordon’s first album Welcome to the Past was released in 2013. His GRAMMY-
balloted record Providence was released on August 30, 2018 to wonderful critical acclaim.
Gordon will release a new, much-anticipated, double album titled Eiderdown in late 2019 or
Gordon has written songs for documentary film, historical events and celebrations, and The
United States World War One Centennial Commission. He is no stranger to television and radio,

also been "Artist of the Week" on WERU, a folk radio station started by Noel Paul Stookey. As
