On Sunday, July 25, from 2pm – 5pm, at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor, the Meetinghouse Theatre Lab will present an improvisation workshop with ImprovAcadia founders, Jen Shepard and Larrance Fingerhut. Jen and Larrance are now working with Penobscot Theater in Bangor.
This workshop will involve improvising on prompts provided by Jen and Larrance and gleaned from workshop participants. Anyone twelve or over is welcome to join us free of charge but must register so that we know how many are coming.
Improvisation is a creative and fun way to practice your acting, improve your ability to work with other actors, become comfortable thinking on your feet, and experiencing the fun of theater without having to memorize lines.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your sense of humor.
If you would like to join us for the afternoon, please notify Schoodic Arts for All, firstname.lastname@example.org or 207-963-2569. If you have questions about the workshop, email Cynthia Thayer at email@example.com or 207-963-7771.
