Bring: Sewing machine if you have one (perferably with a zigzag stitch, and the ability to lower the feed-dogs, a free-motion quilting foot is also helpful). Some machines are avilable at the class as well. Fabrics that look like rocks, trees, water, sky (batiks work well or printed blenders, or printed “landscape type” fabrics {look at the wrong side of the fabric too}. Instructor will have a variety of fabrics on hand as well. Threads in rocks, trees, water, sky colors and black. Instructor will have a variety of threads on hand as well. Small, pointy, very sharp fabric scissors. Lawn chair for working outside, anything you will be comfortable sitting in/on for a few hours.
