Description

In this fast paced and interesting class, students will have the experience of throwing on the wheel, creating a handbuilt sculpture, and firing their creation using the process of raku. Half of the class for each of the first two sessions will work on the wheel, and on the third session, we will glaze and raku fire all of it! Participants will leave on the final session with completed, glazed, and fired creations. All materials and supplies are provided, and extra materials for the firing day will be available. No experience is necessary.
