A professional artist/photographer/musician for over 50 years with work in both the “commercial” and “fine arts” spectrum of the field.
A BFA student at Kent State University in the 60’s with a studio minor in graphics, I started my artistic endeavors as a painter, and switched to the photography in the mid 60’s.
I still draw and use all of my artistic experience with the digital side of photography. The freedom of the medium with the years of training and work as an artist allows me the best of both worlds….
Since moving to Maine 30 years ago, I picked up where I left off playing Jazz … and now with many friends, we have built up a great venue for playing in Penobscot, Hancock and Washington Counties…the players I’ve gathered range in age from their early 60’s to their mid 80’s…and each one brings years of talent and experience to the table for playing jazz, in its many forms and genres…. it is very fulfilling at this stage in life to work with the total creative spectrum….
