Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel, please let us know as soon as possible as there may be a waitlist for your class.

Cancellations 14 or more days prior to the date of the class will receive a full refund. Cancellations occurring fewer than 14 days prior to the date of the class cannot be refunded. We will be happy to apply your tuition fee as a donation.

If you are unable to attend due to illness, please let us know as soon as you are able and your registration will be refunded.

Event Conduct Policy

The mission of Schoodic Arts for All is to enrich our community by providing welcoming, accessible art programs that engage, educate, challenge, and inspire people from all walks of life.

 

We value community; creativity and creative expression; curiosity and learning; inclusivity and affordability; communication, transparency, and openness; joy and excitement; celebration and art as service.

 

To that end, Schoodic Arts for All is dedicated to ensuring that all our events are a safe, inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free experience for everyone.

 

We expect all participants in Schoodic Arts for All’s events to be kind to others and treat everyone with respect.

 

We do not tolerate:

Harassment, bullying, microaggressions, intimidation, and/or insinuations that are hurtful or interfere with any other attendee’s experience or participation are unacceptable behaviors. Examples of unacceptable behavior include but are not limited to the following:

  • Demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior or speech.

  • Inappropriate physical contact; you should have someone’s consent before touching them.

  • Unwelcome sexual attention, including sexualized comments or jokes, inappropriate touching, groping, or sexual advances.

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.

  • Sustained disruption, including during talks and presentations.

  • Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person or group.

  • Possession of dangerous or unauthorized materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons or similar items.

  • Bullying, including repeated verbal abuse; verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a threatening, intimidating or humiliating nature.

  • Theft or inappropriate removal or possession of property.

  • Use, distribution, sale, or transfer of illegal drugs.

  • Any other illegal activity or forms of harassment not covered above.

Please note that animals are not allowed at any of our indoor events, including performances and workshops.  Trained service dogs who are needed as support for a disability and are trained to do supportive work or a supportive task (not including Emotional Support Animals) are allowed.

 

Schoodic Arts for All reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, any Schoodic Arts for All hosted event at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behavior, Schoodic Arts for All may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the event with no refund.
