The health and wellbeing of our audience members, volunteers, and staff are our highest priority.
The position of Schoodic Arts for All in the community is important in bringing people together. The balance between providing a place for friends to gather in the cold, dark months, and knowing that we must keep a safe distance from each other is a difficult one.
We are very aware that many of our patrons are over the age of 60, the age at which the CDC has identified as “at risk”.
We have been in close communication with the Hancock County Emergency Management Agency and are committed to following the guidelines submitted by the CDC and the governor’s office as we all do our part to contain the spread of this disease.
Given the quickly evolving nature of the coronavirus outbreak, and as our friends return to Maine from other places, the board of Schoodic Arts for All has, sadly, made the decision to close the doors of Hammond Hall until April 30, at which time we will reevaluate the situation.
