This Privacy Policy describes Schoodic Arts for All’s (SAFA) policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our website and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We collect data from you to help us improve our programming and also to record registrations and donations. We will not provide that information to any party without your express consent.
Our website collects data on usage and saves information on your computer so that it can recognize you when you return and so that we can evaluate the usage of our website and make it better. That data is called “cookies” and you may opt out of those through your web browser.
We keep only information necessary for our recordkeeping. Payment data, such as credit card information, is not stored anywhere on our system and is encrypted by our payment processor. You will have options to save credit card information for future use, but we do not have access to the full number and would only be able to use it to make registrations or donations at your express direction.
We do list donors’ names in various publications. You may choose to make your donation(s) anonymous and they will then be listed as simply “Anonymous”.
Photographs: We will sometimes photograph or video events or workshops for use in publicity. If you choose to have yourself or your child NOT appear in photographs or videos, please let us know.

We will use that data only for the purposes of keeping those records as we are required to do so by law, and to help us provide better programming. Your credit card or other payment information is never maintained within our offices at any time. Should you elect to keep your credit card information on file for future purposes, that information is encrypted into our payment processor’s system and is not accessible to us.
SAFA will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization, except for that necessary to process credit card payments by our payment processor.

Schoodic Arts for All does offer children’s programs. It is expected, however, that registration in those programs will be performed by the parents or guardians. The information we collect on children is only that which is important for their participation in programs and will be collected directly from parents/guardians, not the child.
If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data without your knowledge, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from our records.
