Wading into Wax: Introduction to Encaustic Painting

Students will learn about encaustics; see demos, experiment, have fun, learn basic techniques - smooth and textured surfaces, mark making, image transfer, pouring - and will walk away with 3-5 practice pieces. (Participants will be working with heat.)
