Stitch a Flag: Landscape Embroidery

Learn the meditative art of landscape embroidery and begin stitching a gorgeous wool-felt wall hanging! We’ll start with the basics of embroidery, from choosing colors to threading needles and tying knots, then move into how to depict light and topography with thread. Students can bring images of landscapes that are special to them, or use one of the local reference photos the instructor will provide. Beginners welcome.
