This is a beginner/intermediate class that will teach you about the materials, techniques and the nature of painting oils from life. Students will learn how to mix local color (the color they see in the light conditions where they are) and compose a still life painting from objects they observe. Composition, brushwork, and paint handling will be included using a limited palette of colors. All materials will be provided.
