Japanese Tie-dyeing, or Shibori, is an ancient Japanese way to dye textiles, creating fabulous patterns on cloth, quilts, pillow covers, sheets, whatever – let your imagination go crazy! Shibori utilizes folding, binding, twisting, bunching (with rubber bands), and stitching (with thread) cloth, and then dyeing it.
